1. Information We Collect
We keep data collection to a minimum to provide you with a great experience:
Account Information: If you upgrade to EstiMATE PRO, we collect your email address and name to manage your subscription.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymous data on how the app is used (e.g., which features are clicked) to improve the tool.
Saved Estimates: If you save a calculation, that data is stored securely in our database so you can access it later.
2. Third-Party Data Processing
Google Maps Platform: We use Google Maps Platform APIs to provide automatic mileage calculations and address autocomplete features. By using EstiMATE, you agree to be bound by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We process your "Start" and "Destination" addresses solely to calculate distance; we do not store your precise real-time GPS location history.
3. Payment Processing
We do not store your credit card information. All payments for the $4.99/mo or $49.99/yr plans are handled securely by Stripe. Their use of your personal information is governed by their own Privacy Policy.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for database management, Stripe for payments, and Google Maps Platform for mapping and distance calculations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
